Complete the North Carolina Residency Determination Service (RDS) online interview/application.
Be sure to record your Residency Certification Number (RCN). You will need it for the application to the college.

Submit an application to the Admissions Office through CFNC.
Please resubmit all documents required for your program of study. The most common requirements are a Residency Determination, new application, official high school transcripts, official college transcripts if you wish to receive transfer credit, and placement testing (unless you qualify for a waiver).
Your previous placement test scores are valid for 5 years.
Please send documentation (transcripts or current placement test scores from another institution etc) officially to the Admissions Office at Isothermal Community College, PO Box 804, Spindale NC, 28160.
Meet with your Advisor, then register online through Patriot Port.
You can also register during final registration which typically occurs 1-2 days before classes begin. During this 1 or 2 day period, you may simply go to your Advisor's department to get registered
