Career and College Promise

NC high school students have the opportunity to earn college credit FREE through Career and College Promise. 

The CCP partnership between Isothermal and North Carolina high schools offer students a clear, focused, and tuition-free path to future success. CCP offers structured opportunities for qualified high school students to pursue a pathway that leads to a certificate, diploma, or degree as well as providing entry-level job skills. Academic credits earned through CCP pathways will enable students to complete an undergraduate degree in less time than high school students without college credit.

Public school, private school, and homeschool students in North Carolina can participate in the CCP program.

CCP provides three pathways to help advance eligible students’ post-high school success:

• College Transfer – College transfer pathways provide tuition-free course credits toward the Associate in Arts or Associate in Science that will transfer seamlessly to any public or participating private college or university.
• Technical Careers – Earn tuition-free course credits at an NC Community College toward a job credential, certificate or diploma in a technical career.
• Innovative High Schools – Begin earning tuition-free college credits as a high-school student by attending an approved Cooperative Innovative High School. Program acceptance is required.
