Isothermal Community College will be offering Career and College Promise high school students the following academic pathways. Students can only take courses in their selected pathway.
The primary objective of the Arts and Science Curricula is to provide students with the general education courses required in the first year of a traditional four-year degree. Depending on proposed majors at the four-year schools, students at Isothermal Community College will pursue the A.A. (Associate of Arts) pathway, the A.S. (Associate of Science) pathway, the A.E. (Associate of Engineering) pathway, or the A.D.N. (Associate in Nursing) pathway.
Students pursuing pathways leading to the AA or AS are encouraged to consult degree plans from their intended transfer institution in making course selections.
Eligible high school freshmen and sophomores may enroll in the following Career and Technical Education Certificate Pathways: Agribusiness, Business Administration, Information Systems, Medical Office Administration, Building Construction, Computer-Integrated Machining, Industrial Systems, Manufacturing, Mechanical Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, and Welding Technologies.
Eligible high school juniors and seniors may enroll in the Career and Technical Education Pathways listed below.
The following pathways lead to an Isothermal Community College Certificate or Diploma.
Courses included in these CTE programs of study are offered in the college’s traditional, local certificate as listed in the college catalog.
