Probation

  1. A student is considered to be making unsatisfactory academic progress and will be placed on academic probation when their cumulative grade point average falls below 2.0.
  2. A student on academic probation for one semester will be required to consult with their college navigator or faculty mentor before registering for any subsequent term.
  3. ​If a student is on academic probation for two consecutive semesters, the student will be required to meet with their college navigator or faculty mentor who may enforce one of the following conditions on subsequent registration:
    1. ​Reduced academic load in upcoming term;
    2. ​Participation in academic assistance in the form of tutoring, learning lab or other appropriate resources;
    3. Enrollment in preparatory courses of study.
