Isothermal Community College can help your organization tap into the potential of your employees with a variety of Customized Training programs. This is a great way to close skill gaps and enhance employees' skill levels from a range of basic to advanced levels.
The purpose of the Isothermal Customized Training Program is to foster and support your organization’s job growth, technology investment, and productivity enhancement for new, expanding, and existing businesses. This strengthens the growth potential of business and industry while preparing a skilled pipeline of employees.
Isothermal's campus reflects the beauty of our location in Western North Carolina. The state-of-the-art facilities here include both small group and traditional classroom training areas, computer labs, the Small Business Center, and the Engineering Technology and Workforce Development (ETWD) building. Beyond traditional training, the facilities can be used for business meetings and multimedia presentations. In the ETWD building, there are spaces available for business and industry partners to hold offsite meetings.
"Danfoss has developed an outstanding relationship with ICC and has partnered with the college for specialized training for our shop floor employees and advanced skills training for our leadership team. We’ve partnered with ICC for apprenticeships, customized classes, and several of our engineers have completed advanced training via satellite programs through the college. ICC’s assistance with workforce development and skills certification will be critical to the growth and sustainability of Danfoss’s operations locally." Lori Ray, Human Resources Manager
