The Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs shall supervise the College’s academic advising system. College navigators and faculty mentors are college employees who help students plan and complete their academic goals. College navigators and faculty mentors shall assist students with course selection and requirements for the program of study.
College navigators and faculty mentors can offer students opportunities to enhance their education by making them aware of the various resources available throughout the College community. College navigators and faculty mentors play an important role in the educational progress of advisees by continually monitoring and evaluating their progression, as well as helping them clarify their educational goals and values.
College navigators and faculty mentors shall be familiar with the College’s policies and procedures as well as other academic issues including, but not limited to, grading, course pre-requisites, and the College’s academic program offerings.
