Every effort will be made to make announcements regarding adverse weather/emergency closings as early as possible. Decisions impacting day classes will be made by 6 a.m. or earlier if possible. Decisions about evening classes will be made by 2 p.m.
Early College (“EC”) students should follow the county/city schools’ schedule. However, if the College is open, EC students should make every effort to attend their College classes.
Announcements regarding closures, or delayed schedules, will be posted on the College’s website and announced on the College Radio Station (WNCW 88.7). Local and area radio and television stations will also be requested to carry the announcements.
Because television/radio stations may not include situations that may occur, such as late openings and optional workdays for employees, the College emergency notification system and the College’s website www.isothermal.edu will be the official communications source for all weather announcements.
