The Vehicle Safety Inspection course meets the training and licensing requirements (initial and/or renewal) for the Vehicle Safety Inspection Program. Both programs are administered by the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles License and Theft Bureau. Vehicle Safety and OBD II are state specific certifications only; no reciprocity granted in another state or jurisdiction.
