- The College was ranked a Top Performing College in Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE) in 2012 for Active and Collaborative Learning.
- A new employer in the region is requiring basic chemistry for all its employees, including office personnel.
- The science laboratories at the College have not been significantly updated since the building was constructed over thirty years ago.
- Isothermal Community College graduates working in health and manufacturing fields are the highest wage earners compared to other fields at one, three, and five years post graduation.
- In Spring 2014, the Student Government Association began a conversation with faculty and administration about the need for more student activities.
- Our 2014 NC Community College System First Year Progression rate was sixty-eight percent, which is below the System Average and the System Goal.
